Amazing Interior Painting Project in Branford, CT

This project was quite the transformation! On this interior painting project in Branford we used a vibrant color called " Watermelon Red " by Benjamin Moore. On arrival we initially covered the new vinyl flooring with Rosin paper. We always protect flooring and furniture first and foremost. The second task was cleaning the walls. The walls were covered with marker, dirt, grime, and other stains from children playing in the rooms over the years. We used dirt ex cleaning solution and goof off to remove the stains. We then applied a tinted primer that was a close color to the top coat that we were going to use. The reason why we prime the walls on our interior painting projects is because it helps to create an even coat and will also ensure proper adhesion for a long lasting finish. Next came trim and wall prep, where we first look for imperfections. We caulk in trim, fill nail holes with wood putty, and skim walls with joint compound where necessary.
